Captin Carl Kuwitzky, President

Captain Carl Kuwitzky serves as President of the Coalition of Airline Pilots Associations in Washington, DC. Previously Captain Kuwitzky served two terms as President of the Southwest Airlines Pilots’ Association (SWAPA) from 2007 through 2010. An Oklahoma native, he has been a pilot at Southwest Airlines since July 1983 flying Captain on the B737 since 1987. He currently is based at Dallas Love Field.

Captain Lee Collins, Executive Vice President

Captain Lee Collins currently serves as Executive Vice President of the Coalition of Airline Pilots Associations. Captain Collins is a 26-year veteran of the airline industry with an extensive professional background in Airline Security, Safety, Domestic and International Flight Operations and many years of Industry/Governmental Legislative Affairs.

Captain Dave Ross, Chairman, Government Affairs

Captain Dave Ross currently serves as the Chairman of Government Affairs for the Coalition of Airlines Pilots Associations in Washington D.C. Captain Ross has an extensive background on Capitol Hill working many issues over the last 10 Years. His experience includes work with the Department of State, testifying before Congress and briefing Presidential candidates. In addition, Captain Ross was President of Teamsters Local 1224 from 2005 through 2008.
