(Washington, DC – June 19, 2019)  CAPA Board member Captain Dan Carey, President of the Allied Pilots Association, tesitifies before the House Aviation Subcommittee on the Boeing 737MAX issue along with Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, AFA President Sara Nelson, former FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt, and Sharon Pinkerton, Senior Vice President of Legislative and Regulatory Policy at Airlines for America.

The House Aviation subcommittee stated “the hearing is intended to gather views and perspectives from aviation stakeholders regarding the Lion Air Flight 610 and Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 accidents, the resulting international grounding of the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, and actions needed to ensure the safety of the aircraft before returning them to service.”
