(Washington, DC – October 31, 2019)  CAPA President Capt. Larry Rooney on NPR’s “On Point” (WBUR) today to discuss the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft as Boeing officials face Lawmakers on Capitol Hill, with Natalie Kitroef, NY Times reporter, and Mike Perrone, National President of the Professional Aviation Safety Specialists.

“The way that this emergency manifested itself with the crews was much more complex than what we were originally led to believe,” stated CAPA President Captain Larry Rooney. “Originally we felt this was a singular malfunction. What we’re finding out now is that these two events, the crews in both of these were dealing with a tremendous startle effect, and dealing with a plethora of emergencies,” he added.
