Chairman, Government Affairs of Coalition of Airline Pilots Associations

Captain Dave Ross currently serves as the Chairman of Government Affairs for the Coalition of Airlines Pilots Associations in Washington D.C. Captain Ross has an extensive background on Capitol Hill working many issues over the last 10 Years. His experience includes work with the Department of State, testifying before Congress and briefing Presidential candidates. In addition, Captain Ross was President of Teamsters Local 1224 from 2005 through 2008. His service to Local 1224 also included time on the Government Affairs Committee, Negotiating Committee and Professional Standards and Ethics Committee.

Captain Ross is a native of New York who graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1983. His Air Force experience included time as an instructor pilot and evaluator pilot in both the T-37 and B-52. He is based in CVG and has been flying for ABX Air since 1992 and has flown the DC-8 and 767.
