Current and Pending Legislative Issues
In recent meetings of the CAPA Government Affairs Committee the following legislative issues were identified as items of interest to the five member associations of CAPA.

- Airline Transport Pilot/Pilot Min. Qualifications
- Railway Labor Act Applicability and Foreign Application of all current Collective Bargaining Agreements under RLA.- under the RLA as originally authored
- Bankruptcy Reform- Legislative Amendment to align both sec. 1113c and sec. 1167 of the Bankruptcy Code applicable to both Airlines and Railroads
- Aircraft Cabin and Aircrew Operating Environment - Application of current OSHA standards to Aircrew operating environment.
CAPA meets with the White House's Office of Management and Budget
Washington, DC--(August 8, 2011). The Coalition of Airline Pilots Associations (CAPA) representatives met with the White House's Office of Managment and Budget to discuss Flight Time and Duty Time regulations.
